LIFE APP:
FRIENDSHIP – Using your words and actions to show others you care
DO THIS:

 MORNING TIME

As your child walks out the door tell them, “Have a great day. Don’t miss the chance to encourage a friend today.”

 DRIVE TIME

Take carpool duty sometime this month. Get your child and their friends to have a lip sync battle with a song of their choice or our song of the month!

 MEAL TIME

Ask a Kid: Who is your most “unlikely” friend? Why do you think you’re friends?
Ask a Parent: Who was your best friend when you were a kid? What did you like to do together?

 BED TIME

Read 1 Samuel 20 with your kid. Think of how Jonathan showed his love for David. He stood up for him and tried to protect him from his angry father. Love is an action. Share some ideas with each other of how you can love others like Jesus loves us, and like David and Jonathan loved each other. Ask God to help you be a great friend to others by loving them well.
