You may not want to admit this out loud, but if greatness, in some form, was accessible to you, wouldn’t you want to pursue it? Who wouldn’t like to go down in history?
The ambition to be great may sound incompatible with godliness, but Jesus never discouraged it. Instead, he taught his disciples how to achieve the greatness they longed for.
