In a world like ours, wouldn’t it be nice if God intervened more often? Clear direction when we don’t know which way to go, a fresh start when we’ve made a mess of things, divine healing when medical science fails! If only! But here we are in a seemingly closed system, doing the best we can on our own.
“No!” the Book of James insists. “God is more eager to answer your prayers than you can imagine!” If that is true, what are we missing? What kind of prayers open heaven’s floodgates?

Wonderful and challenging message on prayer from the Book of James.
We also enjoyed singing Blessed Assurance. Please keep those tried and true traditional hymns coming even if they are set in a more contemporary musical style. The verses are full of biblical truths and reinforce critical life habits of Christianity such as faith, obedience, praise to a holy God and His watch care over us.
