If you are a Christian, may I ask: Why did you become one?
I’ve heard many different answers to that question, but never this one: “Because I wanted to suffer.”
And yet, what Christian has not suffered? And who has not, in the midst of suffering, wondered why the all-powerful Son of God doesn’t put a stop to it?
